  1. Installation

PC & Linux [QCR]

For Quartz's Console: Rewritten

Note: You don't need to use Steam for gamepad controls, you can just simply install the modpack. That's it.

  1. Open "PrismLauncher."

  2. Add Instance.

  3. Go to "Modrinth" section.

  4. Search for "Quartz's Console: Redesigned N' Remodernized."

  5. Click "OK" to install. It should install the files.

  6. Voila! You can now play the game!

Optional Instructions

Add game to Steam

  1. Once finished, open the QCRNR folder and check the instance name. That will be the name later after "--launch" (e.g. QC_RNR_TU1).

  2. Add "PrismLauncher" to Steam.

  3. Rename "PrismLauncher" to "Quartz's Console: Redesigned N' Remodernized" (must be named correctly)

  4. Add this to your launch options: "[your path]/prismlauncher.exe --launch [INSTANCENAME]"

    • Example: "G:\Programs\PrismLauncher\prismlauncher.exe --launch QC_RNR_TU1"

    • It will not work when your instance name had spaces.

  5. There you have it, you have completed the installation!

Controller Setup [XInput Controller Required, DInput Unsupported] [Deprecated]

  1. Go to the game's controller settings.

  2. Press below the "Current Button Layout."

  3. Go to "Community Layouts."

  4. Use "Generic Controller" (Show All Layouts if it's unavailable)

  5. Then, apply layout.

  6. So, your controller layout is installed and ready to use.

Steam Artwork

This is optional.

  1. Go to "QC: RNR" Steam game.

  2. Set your current icon, logo, and hero (background) to the game's artwork you've downloaded.

  3. Voila, your "QC: RNR" has a Steam Artwork!
