Valve's Steam Deck [QCR]

For Quartz's Console: Rewritten (PrismLauncher is recommended, it should work on MultiMC-based launchers)

Tutorial is almost same as PC/Linux, deprecated instructions are included as well.

  1. Switch to "Desktop Mode."

  2. Open "PrismLauncher."

  3. Add Instance.

  4. Name your instance to anything without spaces.

  5. Go to "Modrinth" section.

  6. Search for "Quartz's Console: Rewritten."

  7. Click "OK" to install. It should install the files.

  8. Add "PrismLauncher" to Steam.

  9. There you have it, you have completed the installation!

Optional & Deprecated Instructions

Controller Setup [Deprecated]

  1. Go to the game's controller settings.

  2. Press below the "Current Button Layout."

  3. Go to "Community Layouts."

  4. Use "Steam Deck Controls" (Show All Layouts if it's unavailable)

  5. Then, apply layout.

  6. So, your controller layout is installed and ready to use.

Steam Artwork

This is optional.

  1. Download "SteamGridDB" plugin from the Decky Plugins page.

  2. Go to "Desktop Mode."

  3. Switch back to "Gaming Mode"

  4. Go to your "QC: RNR" game -> Manage (cog icon) -> Change Artwork... -> Manage (tab)

  5. Set your current icon, logo, capsule, wide capsule, and hero to the game's artwork you've downloaded.

  6. Voila, your "QC: RNR" has a Steam Artwork!
